#AtoZChallenge: K is for Kid Goals

Both of my kids have goals. Ever since Little Man was a toddler, he’s often talked about the things he’s wanted to do. Becoming a scientist and curing cancer, creating a Death Spray, and holding a human heart are a few of the things on his list. Baby Girl hasn’t been quite as verbal about her goals as Little Man, for obvious reasons, but she has expressed that she wants to be a doctor and go to the gas station for all the snacks (not necessarily in that order). That’s a little less exciting (and devious) than creating a Death Spray, but the girl’s got goals all the same.

Here are a few other goals they have:

He’s still working on the beat boxing thing.

I’m a SAHM to two kids. When I’m not doing all the typical mom things (diapers, soccer, etc.), I like writing, reading, and playing games. Clearly I live the life of a rock star.

  1. One of my goals is to become a best selling author 🙂

My other goal is to make it through the teen years with my sassy pants daughter…

Currently she has interest in being a doctor and likes to operate on all willing and non-willingly patients. But she also likes to pretend she’s a wrestler… and a ninja turtle. A lot of stuffed animals have been drop kicked across the room and or hit with a sword and lightsaber simultaneously haha.

An assassin… my child is going to be an assassin. It all makes sense now.

But then again she also likes to be the center of attention so maybe Hollywood is in our future 🙂

  2. A beatboxer, poor you. Better than playing the violin I suppose 🤣
My goal is not to throttle my toddler, pretty sure her goal is to incarcerate me. Can’t think of any other reason she says the same word over and over and over whilst purposely doing all the things she knows are naughty.
So far I’m achieving my goal but the toddler grows stronger everyday, it’s only a matter of time until she achieves her goal 😁

  3. When my brother was in kindergarten he wrote that he wanted to be a GI Joe man when he grew up. He grew up and joined the Marines. My boys have said anything from construction workers to policemen to racecar drivers to a puppy so they can poop in the yard 🙂

  4. My oldest is apparently going to be a live at home with her parents person. (sigh) My second wants to be a librarian and lives for school this fall. The youngest… He says he has a plan, which I find more worrisome. When they were little though… It was Batman, a Princess, and Bob The Builder. I guess we shall see. 🙂
