#AtoZChallenge: F is for Fe

After soccer practice one night this week, I was helping Little Man get dried off after his shower when he commented that his belly was sore. He had mentioned running a lot at practice, so I said he’d probably overworked his abdominal muscles. I showed him where they are and he rubbed over them and was apparently impressed by what he felt, as he made this comment:

That’s right. The slender nine-year-old who hasn’t gained a pound all year has abs like iron. Boom.

Iā€™m a SAHM to two kids. When Iā€™m not doing all the typical mom things (diapers, soccer, etc.), I like writing, reading, and playing games. Clearly I live the life of a rock star.

  1. Oh but your artistic talent makes me jealous! Truly it does. My stick figures are at the least disturbing. Don’t you love the way kids see things? Mine are 22 and 19 so the views are more shading adulthood, but still now and then their ideas are giggle-worthy, just not to their face. šŸ™‚

    1. Haha! Get Adobe Sketch and it’ll give your stick figures a boost. Mine went from indiscernible to just kinda bad with that.

I do! I love that even as they get older, that funny stuff still sticks šŸ˜€

      1. Oooh, an unboxing video could be tied into this, too. Make a big deal about the Abs of Fluff material and then slowly and delicately remove the snacks and remote control. Game on.
